I wasn’t sure which song from Kristina Train‘s soulful debut, Spilt Milk, I was going to choose for today’s Song-a-Day; I’ve gone with I Can’t But Help because of the living-in-the-moment lyrics:
“Different places, stranger’s faces; I can’t but help love this moment in time..”
Between these lyrics, her stunning voice and some lovely piano, “I Can’t But Help” is another one of those autumn songs that makes me feel happy to be alive.

*PS: My other favorite track off her debut is called “It’s Over Now.” I played that song on repeat for about a year after a breakup a few years ago. SO GOOD.
